Students
Many of Edith Wiens’ students have established careers in Europe and North America in opera, concert and recital. They have sung at Festivals like Tanglewood, Boston Early Music, Edinburgh, Europäische Festwochen Stuttgart, Berlin Festival, Herrnchiemsee Festival, London Proms, Verbiers, Ravinia, Ludwigsburger Festspiele, Harnoncourt´s Styriarte in Graz etc.
Orchestral engagements include, among many others, the Berlin Philharmonic, the Israel Philharmonic, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Dresden Staatskapelle, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Cleveland Orchestra,Montreal Symphony and the New York Philharmonic.
Recording contracts include the Deutsche Gramophon and Naxos.
